Aim of the Study Tour

The Confucius Institute study tour is aimed to provide 19 UNSW students an opportunity to study Mandarin and live in China for a short period. Through intensive classroom language study and cultural immersion in the language and cultural setting, the attendants are expected to be more strongly motivated and committed to using Mandarin in their future career and life.

Confucius Institute Offer

The Confucius Institute will cover the study tour related on-ground costs for the 13-day study tour in China, including accommodation (twin-share), tuition fees, local transportation, meals, and cultural excursions included in the program for 19 UNSW students. The Confucius Institute will assign one member of UNSW staff to help with organization of the study tour and attend the tour with the 19 students. The staff member will give organizational support before, during, and after the tour.
