About the program

This programme, which is in its fourth year running in 2014, has been very well received by partners and students alike.  The Chinese Language and Cultural Studies programme is targeted at exchange students who are interested to pick up basic Chinese and gain valuable insights into the 5000 year old Chinese culture through the following components:

•        Chinese Language Study

•        Chinese Culture Courses

•        Cultural Immersion Visits

The Chinese Language and Cultural Studies programme is credit-bearing (NTU 6 Academic Units) and classes will be conducted every Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 5.00pm. Students completing the winter programme will receive a Certificate of Participation and an academic transcript.

This program is being offered tuition free to UNSW students who will only have to pay for accommodation and flights. UNSW insurance cover will be provided to selected students.

How to Apply: UNSW Students must complete the UNSW GEP Application 2013 and email it to advisor4globaled@unsw.edu.au no later than October 23rd 2013.
