CUHK Summer Undergraduate Research Programme, Hong Kong

The Chinese University of Hong Kong is pleased to announce it will host the Summer Undergraduate Research Programme (SURP) again in 2014. This programme aims to provide research opportunities to undergraduate students from our partner institutions.

The duration of SURP is from 9 June to 15 August 2014 for approximately eight to ten weeks.

Students will carry out a project of interest under the supervision of an CUHK academic member. Please find the following lists of project topics and host supervisors at CUHK:

Faculty of Arts
Faculty of Business Administration
Faculty of Education
Faculty of Engineering
Faculty of Law
Faculty of Medicine
Faculty of Science
Faculty of Social Science

An orientation and cultural activities will be arranged for the research students and they will earn 3 CUHK credits after successful completion of their research projects.

Applications are open now until 3 February 2014. Full details of the programme can be found on the programme’s website.

UNSW students who participate in this program should email practicum@unsw.edu.au. Students who are successful in securing a placement may be eligible for a Practicum Exchange Scholarship.
