Overview
During this UNSW summer break, Yonsei University offers a 6-week winter program at its Sinchon campus for international students who would like to enjoy the winter in Seoul.
The winter program is composed of two separate 3-week sessions, with intensive morning coursework and unique afternoon Korean language and Taekwondo classes. At the weekend, students can enjoy Korean winter activities. It will be an excellent opportunity to catch up with your coursework, meeting professors in an intimate setting, and to enjoy the companionship of students from all over the world.
2014/2015 WAY Session Dates
- Session 1: December 29, 2014 – January 19, 2015
- Session 2: January 22, 2015 – February 11, 2015
**Students have the option to take either one or both sessions.
Class Schedule
- Academic Course (3 credits): 09:30- 12:00 (Mon-Fri)
- Korean Language or Taekwondo (1 credit): 13:30- 14:30 (Mon-Thur)
**13:30-15:30 on the last day of each session (Jan. 19 / Feb. 11)

One Day Trip
The exciting learning environment of WAY continues outside the classroom with a variety of excursions held on the weekends.
– DMZ Tour: a visit to the demilitarized zone between South and North Korea
– Ski Tour: a one day trip to a nearby ski resort for a crash class of ski
Fees
- This program will be administered on an exchange basis. Selected UNSW students will not have to pay tuition fees.
- All other fees will be payable by the selected students. This will include flights, accommodation, field trips etc.
