A number of us here at UNSW have been lucky enough to receive invitations to trial Google Wave which is still very much in beta. I have to say that here, as everywhere, it’s getting very mixed reviews so far. I’m an optimist; these ARE invites to a beta service. Sure it’s got a long way to go but let’s look at the potential, and I’m still convinced it’s substantial, for an educational setting.
There’s a good introduction to Wave first published in May this year but if you’re not up to a 1hr 20min session the following more recent video provides a good overview…
