As always, Craft Victoria supports practices that reflect innovative work, demonstrate new ideas and techniques, extend critical debate within craft and demonstrate refined craftsmanship.
Expressions of Interest are accepted from emerging makers (in the first 5 years of career) and are limited to one proposal per applicant. These are considered as either a solo or group exhibition by an exhibition advisory committee that includes the Craft Director, Craft Exhibitions Manager, Craft Grants Manager, Emerging Curator and a representative from Craft’s Board of Management as well as an independent artist or curator.
Applications are accepted from artists Australia wide, however please note the gallery exhibits primarily Victorian artists. There will be an emerging curator who will be mentored by Craft Exhibitions Manager – Curator Olivia Poloni to oversee the project.
