{"id":439,"date":"2020-03-24T16:54:59","date_gmt":"2020-03-24T23:54:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.unsw.edu.au\/amaha\/?p=439"},"modified":"2020-04-04T23:54:24","modified_gmt":"2020-04-05T06:54:24","slug":"enma-posts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.unsw.edu.au\/amaha\/blog\/2020\/03\/enma-posts\/","title":{"rendered":"ENMA posts"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"\">It is interesting to me how from the early experiments in telecommunications that media artists had been involved in exploring, have now come to forefront of everyday life.<\/div>\n<div class=\"\">In the early 80\u2019s I was in Perth (the most \u00a0isolated city in world) Australia, through visiting artists from Tom Klinkowstein\u00a0and Roy Ascott , I&#8217;d discovered the ARTEXT network which enabled me to connect to a different dimension through the collapsing of physical space.<\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"\">The ENMA has an interesting role to play in sharing with the community the story of the media artists role in exploring human interfaces with technologies.<\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"\">\u00a0<span class=\"\" lang=\"EN-US\">I am keen to focus on the artists voice, seeking in-depth overviews of the area from the perspective of your own practice, but importantly in regard to the context of issues identified around\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"\" style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif\">individual themes.<\/span><span class=\"\" lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0Who were the artists, academics, peers, theorists, technicians and facilitators that were influencing your practice and the problems you encountered with the ever-changing aesthetics and technological landscape?<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It is interesting to me how from the early experiments in telecommunications that media artists had been involved in exploring, have now come to forefront of everyday life.
