Beginning immediately, aspirants can submit a short video elaborating on a project idea they would like to develop and implement in the context of stays at the ESO and the Ars Electronica Futurelab. An international jury will convene February 23-25 to select two artists to participate in the Residency program. Mentors will accompany and support the two winners at both the ESO and the Ars Electronica Futurelab.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;font-size: 11pt;font-family: Calibri, sans-serif\">\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;font-size: 11pt;font-family: Calibri, sans-serif\"><u><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: 'Klavika Lt'\">Presentation at the Ars Electronica Festival and at All Network Partners<\/span><\/u><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;font-size: 11pt;font-family: Calibri, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: 'Klavika Lt'\">The results of the residencies will premiere at the Ars Electronica Festival September 3-7, 2015 in Linz. Then, travelling exhibitions will make the rounds of all partner institutions: Center for the Promotion of Science (Serbia), DIG Gallery (Slovakia), Zaragoza City of Knowledge Foundation and LABoral (both Spain), Kapelica Gallery (Slovenia), GV Art (England) and the Science Gallery (Ireland).<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;font-size: 11pt;font-family: Calibri, sans-serif\">\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;font-size: 11pt;font-family: Calibri, sans-serif\"><u><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: 'Klavika Lt'\">Residencies at the Nexus of Art and Science<\/span><\/u><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;font-size: 11pt;font-family: Calibri, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: 'Klavika Lt'\">The European Digital Art &amp; Science Network aims to link up scientific aspects and ideas with approaches used in digital art. Fostering interdisciplinary work and intercultural exchange as well as gaining access to new target audiences are among its declared goals. There is also strong emphasis on art\u2019s role as a catalyst in processes of social renewal.
