A pattern can be described as an arrangement of repeated elements. Patterns are found everywhere and can be identified in the world around us. Everyone has their own distinct way of viewing them, and make associations that imitate occurrences from their own experiences,  culture, scripts and objects.

I was interested in experimenting with patterns in a way to understand how they are perceived. Thus, I have tried to create a series of patterns, that look like fractional derivations of something familiar, and yet not be that. They thus tend to deliver a certain kind of resemblance to a thing, but yet not be that thing.
