Experiment -1

The word which I found with the help of my random generating device is “Hotel”. The definition of a hotel is a place where the travelers are accommodated and also given various service in exchange for money.


While I was researching about hotels, I started looking into different hotel rooms in various website of different countries around the world and I found two common concept of hotel rooms in the world

  1. one which has commercial hotel design
  2. and very few hotels with tradition and culture design hotel room (this design varies for country to country depending on the tradition and culture of the country in which the hotel is located)

After looking at a few more rooms with these two concepts (commercial hotel design and tradition and culture design hotel room). I thought of experimenting with these two design concepts by combing them into one another and making them into a new concept of design for the hotel room.

In Experiment 1.1

I have taken three of the traditional design hotel room concept and tried to combine them with one of the commercial design hotel room concepts.

The reason why I felt to combine this two design concept together and develop a new design concept out of them

  • is due to an increase in the number of commercial based design concept hotels
  • and a decrease in the number of traditional based design concept hotels which is not really good for any country as this hotel represents the richness of culture and traditional architecture and interior design of the country.
  • By combining this two concept would also help travelers from the  US for instance get to know more about the richness of culture and traditional architecture and interior design of other country say for instance India while they are staying in the hotel which is designed with a combination of this two design concept.
