So what does it mean that the name of the last Ostrogoth king of all people found me? The name of a tragic hero who remained true to his ideals to the end? He accompanies me, admonishes, protects and teaches me, almost like a teacher who is always one step ahead of me.
Perhaps it is precisely this historical heaviness that makes me seek lightness in art. In the depths I sound out boundaries, examine surfaces and superficiality, and I am happy when humour shines through.
For me, Creative Experimentation means setting the rules on the artistic playing field in such a way that new insights can be gained in the process, perception can be intensified by changing perspectives and consciousness can be trained. Herein lies for me the meaning of art.
