Using teal coloured paint, I made a friend of mine and myself do hand prints on 8 sheets of paper.
The paint was applied only once, yet there was some amount of paint on each sheet.
What I found was, with each sheet, the paint on our hands reduced, but our work was getting messier. We couldn’t keep the structure that we intended to, that was somewhat there in the first sheet. Surprisingly, the art started looking better as the work on the sheets looked clumsier.
I took this further by getting messier and clumsier with it, till the art work reached a cluttered point of no return. Where you don’t even recognise the hands from the paint anymore.
Yet, the sheets have the impact of the hands visible on them.
