ALL ROADS LEAD TO ROME.\u00a0 \u00a0ALL STATIONS TO CENTRAL.<\/span><\/p>\n

These two statements lead me to believe that no matter what route<\/span> we take, we will inevitably end up in one particular area. Whatever road we take, we will somehow end up in Rome, and no matter what train we catch, we will very inevitably end up in Central.<\/p>\n

As stated in its name, Central is the heart of the train lines in Sydney. It is a station that reaches everywhere else. When you are connected to Central, you can take a route to any other station.<\/p>\n

The confusing nature of the audio piece resembles our own experiences of being lost. The sounds of each station overlap and fight to get our attention, but they all agree to take a stop at the one station, Central.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Numerous recordings of Sydney train announcements were carefully placed together in order to create the final audio piece.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n
