To begin my third experiment, I begun by taking a new set of photos. This time I chose a smaller, more flexible book that I could mould into different shapes. The idea here was to create a variety of forms to work with.<\/p>\n

I ended up folding, twisting and sticking pages together to create an interesting and unique result.<\/p>\n

Below are the results:<\/p>\n

From the above photographs, I decided to explore how these forms could be used to develop conceptual architectural spaces that allow people to have a completely unique spatial experience. I used a variety of scales in this exploration, with dramatic curves and oversized spaces.<\/p>\n

The scale people in the works below highlight this effect, providing a perspective on what it would be like to experience such a space.<\/p>\n

Although the forms no longer resemble a book, the curves provide a sense of fluidity that relates back to the flicking of pages and the delicate nature of each page in a book.<\/p>\n
