{"id":2355,"date":"2012-10-25T20:32:10","date_gmt":"2012-10-26T03:32:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.unsw.edu.au\/globaled\/?p=2355"},"modified":"2012-10-25T20:38:17","modified_gmt":"2012-10-26T03:38:17","slug":"vanuatu-summer-school-6uoc-course-at-the-university-of-the-south-pacific","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.unsw.edu.au\/globaled\/blog\/2012\/10\/vanuatu-summer-school-6uoc-course-at-the-university-of-the-south-pacific\/","title":{"rendered":"Vanuatu Summer School: 6UoC course at the University of the South Pacific"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0This <strong>6UOC course <\/strong>will be taught in conjunction with the <strong>Law Faculty of the University of the South Pacific (USP) at the Emalus Campus in Port Vila, Vanuatu <\/strong>from <strong>Tuesday 29 January &#8211; Friday 8 February 2013<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Vanuatu Summer School will be <strong>offered to all eligible Undergraduate law students, Juris Doctor students, and Postgraduate Masters students.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This course will be <strong>taught in English <\/strong>by staff of the University of the South Pacific (USP).<\/p>\n<p>USP is a key contributor to the development of South Pacific nations and a primary source of higher education graduates in the region. Founded in 1968, USP serves its 12 member Countries (Cook Islands, Kiribati, Nauru, Samoa, Tokelau, Tuvalu, Fiji, Marshall Islands, Niue, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Vanuatu) through the provision of education, training, research, consultancy services, and technical expertise. Its academic courses are carefully designed to be relevant to the Pacific Island Countries\u2019 human resource needs. Its alumni, which number in excess of 30,000, hold influential positions throughout the region.
