{"id":2371,"date":"2012-11-05T15:35:12","date_gmt":"2012-11-05T22:35:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.unsw.edu.au\/globaled\/?p=2371"},"modified":"2012-11-05T15:35:12","modified_gmt":"2012-11-05T22:35:12","slug":"nyc-next-idea-competition-deadline-extended","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.unsw.edu.au\/globaled\/blog\/2012\/11\/nyc-next-idea-competition-deadline-extended\/","title":{"rendered":"NYC Next Idea competition: Deadline extended"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The deadline for the NYC Next Idea competition has been extended to November 12th at midnight EST.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Do you have a business idea that would be perfect for NYC?<\/p>\n<p>The competition provides students and recent alumni of U.S. and foreign schools the opportunity to access substantial funding ($35,000) and support to implement their business ideas in New York City.<\/p>\n<p>Six teams of finalists will win a five-day, all-expenses-paid trip to New York City during the week of March 11<sup>th<\/sup> 2013 to participate in the final round of the Competition, which will be hosted at Columbia University.<\/p>\n<p>More information about the Competition can be found on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nycedc.com\/nextidea\">the NYCEDC website<\/a>.
