FUBiS is the official short-term summer and winter university of Freie Universit\u00e4t Berlin<\/strong> designed for international students. Every year, FUBiS welcomes about 650 students from over 60 countries<\/strong>, making it the largest multidisciplinary summer and winter university in Germany.<\/p>\n

Participants can choose between German language courses<\/strong> on up to five proficiency levels and subject courses<\/strong> in various disciplines, e. g. politics, literature and art history. All classes make use of the extended classroom principle<\/strong> and include study and field trips to the vast variety of resources the German capital and cultural metropolis Berlin has to offer. In some classes students have the unique opportunity to attend specially organized and exclusive round-table discussions with decision makers, diplomats, and experts in their field of study. <\/em>
\nUpon successful completion of the program, students earn ECTS credits<\/strong> and receive an official transcript<\/strong> of Freie Universit\u00e4t Berlin. Optional services include the arrangement of appropriate off-campus accommodation and a variety of extracurricular activities.<\/p>\n

FUBiS terms run for 3 to 6 weeks and are offered both in summer and winter.<\/p>\n

FUBiS term II 2013: \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 May 25 \u2013 \u00a0July 6, 2013\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 6 weeks<\/strong><\/p>\n

FUBiS term III 2013:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 July 13 \u2013 August 10, 2013\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 4 weeks<\/strong><\/p>\n

Registration for FUBiS Term I 2013 is possible until December 8, 2012. <\/strong>Students who register for FUBiS Term I 2013 by November 17, 2012<\/strong> will benefit from the early registration discount of 50 EUR<\/strong>.
