Allowing them the experience of furthering their education and networking with<\/p>\n<p>students in other countries will facilitate their personal and academic growth, not to mention<\/p>\n<p>foster international relationships. This, in turn, benefits our society and economy.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Study Overseas Foundation offers travel grants for Australian students and accepts<\/p>\n<p>donations from individuals, companies and organisations. At a cocktail event on Monday, 16<\/p>\n<p>June, The Study Overseas Foundation announced the details of its first round of<\/p>\n<p>scholarships, as well as new partnerships that will deliver tens of thousands of dollars of<\/p>\n<p>scholarships to students over the coming years.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Do you know a student that shows leadership potential, academic merit and a thirst for<\/p>\n<p>furthering their studies?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Study Overseas Foundation\u2019s initial scholarship round provides five students with a<\/p>\n<p>$1000 grant across these categories:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Business leadership<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Leadership in community or international development<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Leadership in the sciences<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Students applying for this scholarship must be an Australian citizen and\/or permanent<\/p>\n<p>resident, living and studying in Australia, enrolled in a non-research degree at an Australian<\/p>\n<p>university and be over 18 years of age.
