{"id":4424,"date":"2014-11-26T21:57:56","date_gmt":"2014-11-27T04:57:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.unsw.edu.au\/globaled\/?p=4424"},"modified":"2014-11-26T21:57:56","modified_gmt":"2014-11-27T04:57:56","slug":"amsterdam-summer-school-2015-vu-university-amsterdam","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.unsw.edu.au\/globaled\/blog\/2014\/11\/amsterdam-summer-school-2015-vu-university-amsterdam\/","title":{"rendered":"Amsterdam Summer School 2015 &#8211; VU University Amsterdam"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Spend July 2015 studying a challenging and interdisciplinary topic in the vibrant UNESCO World Heritage city of Amsterdam. <strong>The Amsterdam Summer School<\/strong> offers small-scale courses in a wide range of fields at an excellent research university, <strong>VU University Amsterdam<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The Amsterdam Summer School offers courses in two consecutive blocks:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Block 1: 6 July \u2013 17 July<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Block 2: 20 July \u2013 31 July<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Students can combine two courses for a four-week programme. Most courses will include an excursion to a museum or institute, such as the Anne Frank House and the International Criminal Court.<\/p>\n<p>The full list of courses are available on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vu.nl\/en\/programmes\/summerschool\/index.asp\">Amsterdam Summer School website.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Fees: <\/strong>The tuition fee for a two-week course will range between \u20ac1300 and \u20ac1450. An early bird discount of \u20ac100 is available for students who apply before 1 March 2015. Included in the fees are: airport pick-up service, furnished accommodation, orientation programme, on-site support, 24\/7 emergency assistance and a certificate after completion of the course.
