{"id":5049,"date":"2015-04-16T23:12:34","date_gmt":"2015-04-17T06:12:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.unsw.edu.au\/globaled\/?p=5049"},"modified":"2015-04-16T23:12:34","modified_gmt":"2015-04-17T06:12:34","slug":"skku-2015-international-summer-session","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.unsw.edu.au\/globaled\/blog\/2015\/04\/skku-2015-international-summer-session\/","title":{"rendered":"SKKU 2015 International Summer Session"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <strong>SKKU 2015 International Summer Semester (ISS)<\/strong> is a 4-week program at Sungkyunkwan University, one of Asia\u2019s oldest universities.<\/p>\n<p>The SKU ISS program will run from<strong> 25 June \u2013 22 July 2015<\/strong>, and is not only academically stimulating; it also offers students an opportunity to make new friends and to discover Seoul and Korea.<\/p>\n<p>The theme of this year\u2019s program is \u201cNew Paradigms of Sustainability\u201d and students will be able to choose up to two courses from a large selection available.<\/p>\n<p>For more information on the program and courses, please visit the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/summer.skku.edu\/summer\/index.jsp\">SKKU ISS website<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As a partner university, UNSW students may be eligible for a discount in tuition fees.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application: <\/strong>To apply, please complete the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/summer.skku.edu\/summer\/menu_2\/sub2_2.jsp\">SKKU ISS online application<\/a><\/strong>.\u00a0UNSW students who are accepted into this program must also complete the\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.unsw.edu.au\/globaled\/files\/2015\/03\/UNSW-GEP-Registration-Form3.pdf\">UNSW GEP Registration Form<\/a><\/strong> and return to\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:advisor4globaled@unsw.edu.au\">advisor4globaled@unsw.edu.au<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><strong>Credit Transfer Process<\/strong>: <\/strong>As this is a fee-paying program, students who wish to transfer credit should apply for credit transfer through\u00a0<em>Cross-Institutional Studies<\/em>.
