(BISS) 2015 earlier this year. It will be an exciting and excellent opportunity for international students who wish to study at one of the most beautiful campuses in the UK and to experience British culture.<\/p>\n<p>There are two different <a href=\"http:\/\/www.birmingham.ac.uk\/International\/birmingham-international-summer-school\/cultural-heritage-programme.aspx\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>programmes<\/strong><\/a> on offer in 2015, including British Cultural Heritage and Mathematical Finance and Financial Time Series. Students will have the opportunity to earn credits for their study in\u00a0programmes that are formally assessed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The dates of the Summer Schools programmes are as follows:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>British Cultural Heritage Programme: 20 July\u20137 August      2015<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Mathematical Finance and Financial Time Series      Analysis: 20 July\u20137 August 2015<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Fees:<\/strong> The fee for the 2015 International Summer School is:\u00a0<strong>\u00a32,500. <\/strong>This includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tuition fees, including assessment (where applicable),<\/li>\n<li>Self-catering accommodation in University halls of residence<\/li>\n<li>Programme of social events.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To recognise the highly valued relationships between Birmingham and our international partners,The University of Birmingham will\u00a0offer a \u00a3150 discount towards the programme fees for students who are eligible for the BISS. In addition, they are also offering a further \u00a3250 scholarship to students from Universitas 21 partners (UNSW).<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to apply:<\/strong> Please visit the<strong> <\/strong><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.birmingham.ac.uk\/International\/birmingham-international-summer-school\/application-form-biss.aspx\">BISS Website<\/a><\/strong> for the online application details. UNSW students accepted into this program must also complete the\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:UNSW%20GEP%20Registration%20Form\">UNSW GEP Registration Form<\/a><\/strong> and return to\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:advisor4globaled@unsw.edu.au\">advisor4globaled@unsw.edu.au<\/a>.\u00a0<strong>The deadline to apply is Monday, May 25th at 9am.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Credit Transfer Process:<\/strong><strong> <\/strong>As this is a fee-paying program, students who wish to transfer credit should apply for credit transfer through\u00a0<em>Cross-Institutional Studies<\/em>.
