{"id":600,"date":"2011-03-07T21:59:21","date_gmt":"2011-03-08T04:59:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.unsw.edu.au\/globaled\/?p=600"},"modified":"2011-03-07T21:59:49","modified_gmt":"2011-03-08T04:59:49","slug":"dtu-summer-university-program-2011","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.unsw.edu.au\/globaled\/blog\/2011\/03\/dtu-summer-university-program-2011\/","title":{"rendered":"DTU Summer University program 2011"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Technical University of Denmark offers the following Summer University courses in 2011:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Chemical &amp; Biochemical Engineering<\/strong>: July 11<sup>th<\/sup> \u2013 July 30<sup>st<\/sup><\/li>\n<li><strong>Tele communication<\/strong>, July 25<sup>th<\/sup> \u2013 August 12<sup>th<\/sup><\/li>\n<li><strong>Arctic Technology<\/strong>, August 1<sup>st<\/sup> \u2013 August 19<sup>th<\/sup><\/li>\n<li><strong>Sustainable<\/strong><strong> energy, <\/strong>June 20<sup>th<\/sup> \u2013 July 8<sup>th<\/sup><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The DTU Summer University Program offers courses with instruction entirely in English language for BSc students of engineering or related natural science programs. Students from the EU or from <a title=\"http:\/\/www.dtu.dk\/upload\/administrationen%20-%20101\/internationalt_samarbejde\/dtu%20partner%20universities.pdf blocked::http:\/\/www.dtu.dk\/upload\/administrationen - 101\/internationalt_samarbejde\/dtu partner universities.pdf http:\/\/www.dtu.dk\/upload\/adminis\" href=\"http:\/\/www.dtu.dk\/upload\/administrationen%20-%20101\/internationalt_samarbejde\/dtu%20partner%20universities.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">DTU partner universities outside EU<\/a> are invited to come to DTU for a 2-4 weeks period. During the summer the students will follow one of the offered DTU Summer University courses. After passing the course the student is awarded a certificate and ascribed 5 ECTS study credits.<\/p>\n<p>Students from our partner universities attend the course for free \u2013 they only have to pay an accommodation fee for 300 Euro*. However, DTU has a number of scholarships to cover cost of accommodation for the best performing Summer University Students.
