{"id":950,"date":"2011-09-22T18:49:08","date_gmt":"2011-09-23T01:49:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.unsw.edu.au\/globaled\/?p=950"},"modified":"2011-09-28T20:44:25","modified_gmt":"2011-09-29T03:44:25","slug":"national-parliamentary-congressional-internship-program","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.unsw.edu.au\/globaled\/blog\/2011\/09\/national-parliamentary-congressional-internship-program\/","title":{"rendered":"National Parliamentary-Congressional Internship Program"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The National Parliamentary-Congressional Internship Program at the Australian National University (ANU) is offering an exciting opportunity for three outstanding students from Australia\u2019s Group of Eight (Go8) universities to travel to Washington DC to intern for a United States senator on the influential U.S. Senate Committee on Foreign Relations.<\/p>\n<p>For a period of up to three months, between December 2011 and February 2012, \u00a0the interns will assist the Senator\u2019s senior staff develop policy advice and assist with the day-to-day functioning of the office.
