Humans of UNSW – Daniel

“A desire for revenge was the catalyst for my career. In high school, there was a school meeting and my maths teacher asked ‘Who would like to do advanced mathematics?”.

I thought that could be my kind of thing and I raised my hand. But he laughed at me in front of the whole school and told me to put my hand down.

So, I decided to show him. By the end of the year I was top of the class and now I teach it at UNSW.”
