HUMANS OF UNSW – MIKE

“Never ever let anybody – including me – tell you what can be done! I am involved in some outrageous projects, like bringing extinct animals back to life, partly because I was told it can’t be done. I try to communicate to students that trying new things is crucially important for innovation and it is the reason for the rich life that we all live today! If you have an idea, it very probably can work. So, my strongest message to students is to keep your mind open and your vision alive and ignore people who are trying to steer you away from doing impossible things.”
