The goal for the workshop was to develop a foundational set of definitions, practices and criteria that will become a globally shared transdisciplinary studio course existing outside of academic and art historical boundaries.<\/p>\n<p>In collaboration with the\u00a0<a class=\"wiki_link_ext\" href=\"http:\/\/cca.cornell.edu\/?p=cca-biennial\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Cornell Council for the Arts (CCA)\u00a0<\/a>and in conjunction with its inaugural biennial, Intimate Cosmologies: The Aesthetics of Scale in an Age of Nanotechnology,<a class=\"wiki_link_ext\" href=\"http:\/\/www.leonardo.info\/isast\/LEAF.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Leonardo Education and Arts Forum (LEAF)<\/a>\u00a0(a working group of Leonardo \u00ae \/ISAST) continued its successful international education event-initiative at Cornell University on September 20, 2014.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop was led by associate professor\u00a0<a class=\"wiki_link_ext\" href=\"http:\/\/visiblespace.com\/blog\/?page_id=911\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Paul Thomas<\/a>, Director of Fine Art Honours, University of New South Wales and visiting assistant professor of Studio Art and Director of the Cornell Council for the Arts,\u00a0<a class=\"wiki_link_ext\" href=\"http:\/\/aap.cornell.edu\/people\/stephanie-owens\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Stephanie Owens<\/a>.
