The bi-annual event has produced initiatives like the MyIT Mobile App and the Virtual Campus concept.\u00a0<!--more--><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Andrew Maloney will be guest speaker at the event. Andrew is a former UNSW student, and the founder\u00a0of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/studentvip.com.au\/\">StudentVIP.com.au<\/a>, which boasts over 880,000+ members. Andrew also created the popular <a href=\"http:\/\/lostoncampus.com.au\/\">Lost on Campus App<\/a>, and went on to found <a href=\"https:\/\/flatmates.com.au\/\">Flatmates.com.au<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The\u00a0UNSW Service Improvement Conference is part of the UNSW Hero Program. The conference is a chance for Heroes to form teams and investigate ways to improve the university experience at UNSW by leveraging technology and embracing the 2025 Strategic Plan.\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\">Eight teams of students will pitch their ideas and compete for the best Service Improvement Initiative.\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\">Prior to presenting, each group of students have completed several workshops ranging from innovation to project management, organised by internal and external UNSW Hero Program partners.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The event will be followed by a networking session, with\u00a0complimentary food and drinks.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">If you&#8217;d like to attend, please RSVP to\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/a.kovalev@unsw.edu.au\">Anatoli Kovalev<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Next Friday, August 5th, the John Niland Scientia Building with play host to the\u00a0UNSW Service Improvement Conference.
