Hands Across the Water charity event

In January 2012, one of our Exec MBA Alumni, Daniel Murray, will be cycling more than 1,600 km across Thailand in just 16 days to help support Hands Across The Water, a small charity that supports several orphanages in Thailand.

On top of the bike riding, Daniel has made a commitment to raise $20,000 to donate directly to the charity to continue developing the orphanage projects. To raise this money, Daniel is holding a charity cocktail event on

Thursday 10th November, at the Woolloomooloo Bay Hotel.

The night will include:

– Live Skype to the orphanage so we can speak to the kids we are supporting

– Michaela A K Baranov performing live

– Over $5,000 worth of prizes to give away:

·     Accommodation & cruise in Hervey Bay

·     $300 sailing cruise on Sydney Harbour

·     Signed cricket bats from Michael Clarke & Michael Hussey

– Win great prizes with Pluck-a-Platy & your chance pick a wish to come true for the kids

Financially, the charity has ensured $50 from every ticket & 100% of funds on the night will go directly to the charity. This is in line with Hands Across The Water’s ongoing commitment to ensuring 100% of donors money goes to helping the children.
