In 2009 funding was provided for the start of a project to provide an electronic document and records management system (EDRMS) for the University.
By the end of 2009 the project had resulted in the upgrading of the University’s TRIM recordkeeping system to the latest version, the development of recordkeeping tools, including a business classification scheme linked to disposal authorities, and the infrastructure to enable the implementation of electronic document management.
In 2010 the upgraded version of TRIM including electronic document capture features, TRIM Context 6.2, was rolled out to units within the Legal and Compliance Unit within the Division of the Executive Director, University Services.
In 2011 the project has continued with the focus now on the Division of the DVC (Research.) The full EDRMS toolset of TRIM Context 6.2 will be implemented across all units within the Division.
