European Summer Program – Northern France

European Summer Program will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2011. and is held in Northern France. The European Summer Program is a 4-week academic package made for undergraduate and graduate students who would like to study abroad in the summer.

It offers 2 different tracks:

General Program (10 ECTS credits):Courses taught in English or in French:

  • French Arts (English)
  • Culture et Société française (French)
  • French Culture and Society (English)
  • European Studies (English)
  • European Business & Management (English)
  • Environmental Studies (English)
  • Communication (English)

Also including:

  • A French Intensive Course
  • An introduction to Intercultural Communication
  • Fieldtrips to battlefields of WW1, Brussels and Paris
  • Accommodation + breakfast and lunch on weekdays
  • 6 groups dinners
  • Free access to public transportation pass
 

Science and Engineering Program (12 ECTS credits):

Specialist courses taught in English in the fields of engineering and natural sciences:

  • Project Management
  • IT Sciences
  • Renewable Energy
  • Scientists and Engineers Preparing for A Global Career

Also including:

  • Fieldtrips to course-related sites, Brussels and Paris
  • Accommodation + breakfast and lunch on weekdays
  • 6 groups dinners
  • Free access to public transportation pass

Special features:

  • From 10 students or more, the program will host a group leader from your university (accommodation on campus and cultural program) for free.
  • Discounts can be offered from 10 students or more.

For your information, in 2012, the following courses may be added to the already existing list of courses: Health and Social Work in France, Human Rights, Theology and Religious Studies, Green and Global (engineering track).

How to apply:

UNSW students who wish to attend these courses should complete the GEP_Outgoing_UNSW application form and return to m.kofod@unsw.edu.au
