DTU Summer University program 2011

Technical University of Denmark offers the following Summer University courses in 2011:

  • Chemical & Biochemical Engineering: July 11th – July 30st
  • Tele communication, July 25th – August 12th
  • Arctic Technology, August 1st – August 19th
  • Sustainable energy, June 20th – July 8th

The DTU Summer University Program offers courses with instruction entirely in English language for BSc students of engineering or related natural science programs. Students from the EU or from DTU partner universities outside EU are invited to come to DTU for a 2-4 weeks period. During the summer the students will follow one of the offered DTU Summer University courses. After passing the course the student is awarded a certificate and ascribed 5 ECTS study credits.

Students from our partner universities attend the course for free – they only have to pay an accommodation fee for 300 Euro*. However, DTU has a number of scholarships to cover cost of accommodation for the best performing Summer University Students. (*Except Arctic Technology and Danish Language and Culture course – see the specific prices at the DTU website.)

DTU also offers a 3 week Danish Language & Culture Course, July 31st – 20st.The course is offered to all ERASMUS (EILC) students and to MSc students accepted at DTU. More information can be found on our website: http://www.dtu.dk/English/education/Summer%20University/DanishLanguageandCulture.aspx

A stay at the DTU Summer University comprises:

  • Professional prepared academic and scientific course content
  • Accommodation at DTU Campus*
  • General information about DTU possibilities
  • Party for all Summer University students

How to apply:

UNSW students who wish to attend these courses should complete the GEP_Outgoing_UNSW application form and return to m.kofod@unsw.edu.au at least two weeks prioir to the deadline.
