The Chinese Language and Silk Road Study Tour to Gansu Province is open to students and staff across all faculties of UNSW who have undertaken either Chinese language or Chinese Studies courses, including the summer course ‘Along the Silk Road’. In cooperation with Lanzhou University, the study tour will include, visits to historical sites such as Dunhuang, Chinese language and Silk Road related lectures. The aim of the tour is to build on participants’ knowledge of China to provide a deeper insight into the history of the Silk Road.
