Spend the summer studying in Stockholm, the beautiful capital of Sweden!

The Karolinska Institutet, KTH Royal Institute of Technology and Stockholm University have come together to form the Stockholm Summer School. Together with the support from the city council of Stockholm, the three universities provide a unique opportunity for students on undergraduate level.

Stockholm Summer School provides students with a cross section of medicine, technology, science and social sciences in Sweden – a country well-known for its innovation, equality and openness. The programme consists of five courses that run in parallel:

  • Bioentrepreneurship
  • Future Energy Technology
  • Global health
  • The Earth’s Climate and Climate Change
  • The Swedish Model

Participating students will get the best out of their study destination and share experiences with each other through additional joint lectures by prominent researchers from all the three universities and an extensive social programme. The online application period opens 20 January and closes 1 March 2012. The 4-week courses will start 11 June (on location from 18 June).
More information on the course content, admission, fees, housing, the city of Stockholm and interviews with the programme directors is available at www.stockholmsummerschool.se. Click here to view the brochure.

UNSW students who wish to attend should also complete the GEP_Outgoing_UNSW applicationv2 and return to m.kofod@unsw.edu.au two weeks prior to the application deadline.
