IREP SUMMER is open to you if you are an undergraduate or graduate student at one of TU Darmstadt’s partner institutions in the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
IREP SUMMER offers an exciting opportunity to actively participate in cutting-edge research projects in one of the research institutes at Technische Universität Darmstadt and enjoy a stimulating inter-cultural orientation program at the beginning of the program.
German language skills are not a pre-condition for acceptance to the program – oral and written communication throughout the research project is in English. An intercultural orientation program, guided tours and a trip to Heidelberg will round up this exciting program.
Research Internships
Research internships are available in almost every academic unit at Technische Universität Darmstadt. Students can choose a research project from the IREP website or suggest their own project.
In the latter case, the International Relations Office at Technische Universität Darmstadt will assist the student in finding a supervisor for their research project.
Samples of open research internships:
- Development of ecological and economical optimised ready mix concretes with reduced cement content (Civil Engineering)
- Quantum Information Processing with Neutral Atoms (Physics)
