Bucerius Law School & UC Hastings Summer Program in IP Law and Licensing

Dates: July 20 – August 8, 2014

Bucerius Law has a brand-new Summer Program in IP Law and Licensing which they are proud to offer in cooperation with the UC Hastings College of the Law, USA. Participants will receive a comparative overview of the main IP laws, with a focus on the EU and US system and will be introduced to practical uses of IP law, including developing strategic IP protection plans, developing and managing IP portfolios, legal and strategic aspects of IP licensing. The course will culminate with negotiation and drafting of an international technology license agreement. Site visits to major German and European enterprises round up the program.

 

All programs boast of a rewarding academic curriculum taught by experienced professors and legal practitioners. Outside of the classroom, students have the opportunity to take part in an exciting and informative extracurricular agenda.
