In July and August 2014, the Munich University of Applied Sciences offers the well-established summer school program in the fields of engineering and entrepreneurship.
1. Munich Summer School of Applied Sciences “Engineering for Sustainability”
- Five week program from July 7 to August 8, 2014
- Courses: German Language and Culture, Smart Vehicles, Renewable Energies, Internal Combustion Engines, Embedded Systems, Gas Turbines, Sustainable Entrepreneurship.
MUAS combine a high quality academic program with visits to research centers and companies. Participants will have the opportunity to learn in an international environment, to improve their intercultural competences and to get to know about the German language and history. All subject courses are taught in a tandem by one professor from our home institution and one professor from a US partner university. The program fee is 1690€.

2. Supply Chain Management Summer School
- Two week program from July 7 to July 18, 2014
- Operational Excellence: Managing Global Supply Chains the German Way (Future Supply Chain Management, Operational Excellence, Doing Business in Germany).
A variety of company visits will make this program unique. Students will have the opportunity to talk to several responsible managers in the field of Supply Chain. The group will travel the second week and learn about companies in upper Bavaria. Cultural activities and get-togethers round off this intensive summer school. Fee: 1595€.
