The University of Leeds will be holding the Leeds International Summer School (LISS) in 2015.
LISS runs for 4 weeks from 3rd July – 2nd August. Students will study 2 courses and receive 20 University of Leeds credits overall. Courses cover a wide range of topics and subject areas including English country houses, pop music, sport in the UK, business and cultural awareness, medieval studies, electronic music, the industrial revolution, renewable energy and British literature among others.
Experiential field trips are a key feature of LISS and you will have the chance to leave the classroom and enjoy hands-on learning that will give students insights into British culture, history and society. This includes day trips to various destinations, a 2-day trip to London, as well as excursions closer to Leeds and social events during the week and at weekends.
