Arc’s clubs and societies are a great way to get social, get active and make the most of your time at uni. With over 300 to choose from, you’ll never have a dull moment.

Once you’ve signed up, attend an event! Strike up a conversation with the classic line “so what do you study?” and go from there. It’s still the best way to make friends and connect with likeminded students across campus.

Become a regular member and you’ll soon be able to take on experiences and roles for your development. Being a Club Executive looks great on your resume and employers have a sweet tooth for leadership experiences.

Food For All Association

Soon into Term 1 you will realise that a $15 lunch may be stretching your budget a little thin. Luckily Food For All blesses campus with fortnightly droolworthy drops of affordable (and sometimes free) munchables. When you snag a snag you will help the Club’s #woke mission, raising funds to alleviate hunger.  

DogSoc

Have you been a good boy? DogSoc is a pawesome excuse to pet a pooch in between lectures and labs. If you’ve had a ruff day, then a cuddly canine will get your tails wagging again with walking sessions and dog cafés! Follow their Insta @unswdogsoc to overcome your doggo deprivation.

RunSoc

Last minute assignments, study cramming sessions, that person who added you on Facebook after one class together. Let’s face it, we are all running from something. Why not channel all that nervous energy into something healthy like RunSoc. This bolting bunch loop circuits around Sydney regularly enough for you to burn off that GYG burrito. 

Start-up Link

Got a get rich quick scheme? Start-Up could make your procrastination doodles a cash-money reality. Providing members with the know-how, training and advice needed to turn an idea into more than just a time waster, these entrepreneurs will have you rubbing shoulders with Elon Musk in no time. 

Med Revue

Are you the next UNSW triple threat? Or do you have no theatrical talent at all? No matter if you are destined for Oscars or Razzies, the Med Revue is open to every budding thespian and backstage lurker at UNSW. 

If you’re passionate about something but can’t find a club or society for it – lasso some people and create your own! Arc will even give you all the resources to breathe life into it.
