Babson College Global Leadership Development Experience 2012

Posted by on February 14th, 2012 · 2012, Conference, UNSW Partner Institution

Babson College is offering an exciting new program in 2012. The Babson College Global Leadership Development Experience (GLDE) is an initiative that gives college students from around the globe the opportunity to work together to address some of the major problems facing the world today.

The GLDE Program will take place on Babson College campus from June 3 to June 29 2012. The goal is to bring together approximately 30 top students from around the world who are committed to working with each other and with faculties to take action on global challenges – today! Babson College will use the United Nations Millennium Development Goals as a framework for exploring some of the current major world issues. They will work with students to use entrepreneurial thought and action, to create action plans with each other and for actual businesses and organizations that can address these challenges. By the end of the Experience, Babson college hope to have established a global and connected network of high-impact students who will continue to work together with us on these important issues.

UNSW is able to nominate two of our best students to be a part of this unique experience. This will be a highly interactive experience, as students will spend more time outside of the classroom than in it, meeting with leaders and organizations from Boston, New York and beyond. It promises to be a life-changing experience for those who are involved in the program.
