EBS Law School is pleased to offer UNSW students are wonderful opportunity to study the Summer Courses tuition free in 2013! The summer program will run from June 3 to 28 2013.
The four-week summer program focuses on European Business Law. After completing an intensive one-week course on the Law of the European Union, students can choose from six different electives dealing with more detailed questions of EU Business Law. Each elective equals 700 minutes of teaching and includes a corresponding site visit (e.g. the European Central Bank and the European Court of Justice) and a final examination at the end of the programme. Students without any prior knowledge of EU Law can delve into the topic within a relatively short space of time, whereas students having studied some basics of European Law can deepen their expertise in the specific electives.
The classes include:
Introduction to the Law of the European Union (Professor Dr. Martin Will M.A., LL.M. Cambridge, et. al. / EBS Law School)
Electives:
European Commercial Arbitration
EU Banking and Securities Laws
EU Financial Regulations
European Corporate and Company Law
EU Climate Protection and Emission Trading Rights
European Competition Law
In addition to the introductory module, each student is advised to select at least two of the six electives offered. All courses are taught in English.
