The Elliott School’s U.S. Foreign Policy Summer Program will present the complex factors that shape U.S. foreign policy. Taking the advantages of its location in downtown Washington, DC, the lectures and seminars will be presented by leading scholars and experts from variety international organisations.

The U.S. Foreign Policy Summer Program feature core lectures by the program director, GW faculty, and guest speakers from a wide variety of organisations. In the past years, students have visited places included:

  • U.S. Department of State
  • U.S. Department of Defense
  • Senate Foreign Relations Committee
  • Council on Foreign Relations

The U.S. Foreign Policy Summer Program has two sessions – Session one: June 3-14; Session two: July 8-19.
