Ochanomizu University Summer Program in Japanese 2013

The Ochanomizu University Japanese Summer Program incorporates Japanese language classes, project work and field work.

Dates: July 15th – July 31st  2013

Target: Students from partner universities who are learning Japanese

Japanese level required: Intermediate (JLPT N3-N4, approx. 20 students)

Location:Ochanomizu University, Tokyo, Japan (http://www.ocha.ac.jp/en/access/index.html)

Objectives of the Program

1) To build academic Japanese language skills: Project work classes will be included in which students investigate themes relating to Japan and Japanese culture and report the results.

2) Understanding of multiple cultures and languages: By mixing not only with Japanese but with students from many different countries taking part in the program, students will deepen their intercultural understanding.

Two UNSW students will receive scholarships that cover their tuition fees at Ochanomizu University. To apply please complete the GEP Outgoing application 2013 and return to advisor4globaled@unsw.edu.au no later than Tuesday May 14th 2013.
