‘Studying overseas is a life-changing experience; one that all students
should have access to, regardless of their background or socioeconomic
status.’
Emeritus Professor Di Yerbury, Chair of the Board of Directors
Enter the Study Overseas Foundation, a registered Australian charity whose mission is
dedicated to providing these opportunities for Australian students.
Tertiary students are our future leaders; our future doctors, lawyers, scientists, teachers and
writers. Allowing them the experience of furthering their education and networking with
students in other countries will facilitate their personal and academic growth, not to mention
foster international relationships. This, in turn, benefits our society and economy.
The Study Overseas Foundation offers travel grants for Australian students and accepts
donations from individuals, companies and organisations. At a cocktail event on Monday, 16
June, The Study Overseas Foundation announced the details of its first round of
scholarships, as well as new partnerships that will deliver tens of thousands of dollars of
scholarships to students over the coming years.
Do you know a student that shows leadership potential, academic merit and a thirst for
furthering their studies?
