Study Business overseas this January 2015 holiday

THREE AIM Overseas’ January programs are currently open to Business students

1. International Trade Finance: An Asian Perspective – Hong Kong: 3 weeks in December 2014

2. American Business and Leadership – USA: 3 weeks in January 2015

3. Marketing and Management – France: 3 weeks in January 2015

 

International Trade Finance: An Asian Perspective – Hong Kong

This three-week intensive course will give students an in-depth understanding of the financial world from an East Asian perspective. It introduces you to the international dimension of finance and different strategic aspects of mergers and acquisitions. Attention will be devoted to the investment funds industry, finance decisions and how Hong Kong maintains its leading role within East Asia will also be looked at.

American Business and Leadership – USA

Step into this ‘real world’ program and develop your business communication and leadership skills from an American perspective at The University of North Carolina. Interactive workshops and team building activities, taken over 3 intensive weeks, will give you a chance to develop your negotiation skills and provide you with great insights into how to deal with conflicts in the workplace. You will also learn about leadership styles and have the opportunity to work on your presentation skills to become adept at producing informative and persuasive presentations.

Marketing and Management – France

The course on E-Marketing aims to broaden your understanding of the ways marketing techniques and digital tools can be integrated. You will also have a chance to gain experience with the overall digital commercial environment and its impact on marketing strategies and practices. The component on Management focuses on the theories and principles of persuasion and effective influence on gaining employee commitment. You will learn about different levels of leadership and how to deal with difficult circumstances and people.
