There are 10 places available in the SDES6790 – Island Innovation Lab: Singapore elective runĀ 16 – 22 Feb 2015 (inclusive). This course is available to any UG or PG student at UNSW as a 6UOC elective.
5 grants of $2,000 per student are available for students who are Australian Residents under the federally funded Asia Bound Short Term Mobility Funding program.
The lab centres around enabling students to develop a capacity for cross disciplinary collaboration using design thinking frameworks with a view to identifying local, regional and global sustainability issues (Social, Environmental, Economic and Governance) and addressing these through design based innovation projects. It is an immersive, interactive, experiential learning opportunity.
The additional cost of this course above the usual course fees would be approx $2,000 – 2,300 when estimating Air Fare from Sydney, Accommodation, Transport, Food and fees for activities.
