The Graduate School of Science of the University of Tokyo will offer summer research internship opportunities to qualified undergraduate students.

The program is a grant program, named UTRIP (the University-of-Tokyo Research Internship Program). The features of the UTRIP program are as follows:
* Six-week research-centered program for students who wish to obtain a Master’s or Doctoral degree in natural science areas;
* Providing financial support to all participants including housing for the full period of six week, coverage for traveling costs to, and from Japan (up to 100,000 yen) as well as stipend of 60,000 yen to cover some personal expenses in Japan. No program fees will be charged;
* Eligibility: Undergraduate students of a Bachelor’s degree program. At selection, however, the priority for nomination is given to applicants in their junior years; and

The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) takes pleasure to announce the launch of a 10-week Summer Undergraduate Research Programme (SURP) for visiting students who are majoring in a science or engineering discipline in an overseas institution to undertake a research project at CUHK during the summer of 2013! The programme will take place from the second week of June to mid-August for approximately 10 weeks.
SURP offers opportunities for participating students to gain hands-on experience in conducting research under the supervision of a host supervisor and explore Hong Kong through participation in cultural activities and weekend excursions. Students can also attend seminars held by professors from CUHK’s Faculties of Science and Engineering during the 10-week programme.
Applicants must be registered full-time undergraduate students at the home institution. Students who are undertaking a four-year programme must have completed three years of study/who are undertaking a three-year programme must have completed two years of study prior to participating in the programme.

EBS Law School is pleased to offer UNSW students are wonderful opportunity to study the Summer Courses tuition free in 2013! The summer program will run from June 3 to 28 2013.
The four-week summer program focuses on European Business Law. After completing an intensive one-week course on the Law of the European Union, students can choose from six different electives dealing with more detailed questions of EU Business Law. Each elective equals 700 minutes of teaching and includes a corresponding site visit (e.g. the European Central Bank and the European Court of Justice) and a final examination at the end of the programme. Students without any prior knowledge of EU Law can delve into the topic within a relatively short space of time, whereas students having studied some basics of European Law can deepen their expertise in the specific electives.
The classes include:
Introduction to the Law of the European Union (Professor Dr. Martin Will M.A., LL.M. Cambridge, et. al. / EBS Law School)
Electives:
European Commercial Arbitration
EU Banking and Securities Laws
EU Financial Regulations
European Corporate and Company Law

In addition to the introductory module, each student is advised to select at least two of the six electives offered. All courses are taught in English.

Bucerius Law School offer two intensive, English-taught Bucerius Summer Programs for students and recent graduates to expand their global horizons while deepening their knowledge in the given field over several weeks.
The Bucerius Summer Programs are independent programs, offered separately from the International Exchange Program. However, the Summer and Exchange programs are complementary, so students interested in attending one of the Summer Programs prior to their exchange semester are welcome and encouraged to do so. There is a short break in-between the two study periods, during which time students may choose to enroll in an intensive German language course, travel or just relax in Hamburg.

City University of Hong Kong is extending an amazing opportunity to UNSW students. The Xian Cultural Study Tour has been co-organised by the Mainland and External Affairs Office and the Chinese Civilisation Centre of CityU and is offered during May 31- June 6, 2013. The tour, led by 2 in-programme staff of CityU, will offer an educational and cultural study opportunity at Xian City in China. Students will also have the chance to travel and mingle with a group of around 30 CityU students on the tour.
With partial sponsorship provided by CityU to students, the programme fee for this 7-day study tour is HK$3,500 (approximately USD460) per participant. The fee includes meals, return transportation between Hong Kong and Xian, in-city transfer, six hotel nights (double room) in Xian, and entrance tickets to the cultural heritage sites during the tour period.
Participants should be able to understand Putonghua (Mandarin) in order to gain the best out of the experience.
