University of Melbourne CIs, Prof Jaynie Anderson and A/Prof Alison Inglis, and Melbourne Project Officer Emily Wubben have delivered yet another excellent content project.
In 2014, The University of Melbourne created the Hugh Ramsay Chair in Australian Art History, Faculty of Arts. It was the perfect opportunity for DAAO to develop a complete record of Ramsay’s life and work, drawing on data from a range of partner collections.
The project focussed on pulling in Recognition, Exhibition, Reference and Works data, including images, to Ramsay’s DAAO record. Thanks to Emily’s efforts, we now have a much more thorough records for this significant Australian artist. The record also now includes images linking to the collections of 9 regional and metro cultural institutions: National Library of Australia, Art Gallery of WA, Art Gallery of SA, Mildura Arts Centre, Art Gallery of Ballarat, Geelong Gallery, Geelong College, Castlemaine Art Gallery & Historical Museum and Benalla Art Gallery. Go Em!
